1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using CSBoard ("the Service", "the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CSBoard.
2. Service Description
CSBoard operates a direct CS2 virtual item marketplace where users sell their CS2 skins to the Platform and purchase skins from the Platform's inventory.
In these transactions, CSBoard acts as the counterparty — not an escrow service. The Platform buys items into its own inventory and sells items from its own inventory.
Important: CSBoard is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam. CS2, Counter-Strike, and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
Operator of the Service
CSBoard is operated by an unincorporated team that runs the websites csboard.com and csboard.trade. A formal legal entity is in the process of formation; this section will be updated with company name, registration number and registered address as soon as incorporation is completed. Until then, all rights and obligations of CSBoard under these Terms are exercised by the operating team that controls the platform infrastructure and bot inventory.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding financial transactions.
Sanctions, Embargoes & Restricted Jurisdictions
CSBoard is committed to international sanctions compliance. The Service is not available, and access may be denied or terminated without compensation, to any person or entity who:
- Resides in, is located in, or is a national of a country or territory that is the target of comprehensive economic or trade sanctions of the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, United Nations, or Switzerland
- Is listed on the U.S. Treasury OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, the U.S. Commerce Department Denied Persons List, the EU Consolidated List of Sanctioned Persons, the UK HM Treasury Consolidated List, or any analogous list
- Acts on behalf of any person or government referenced above
- Is otherwise subject to any UN, US, EU, UK, Swiss or other sovereign sanction, embargo or restriction
You represent and warrant that you are not on any such list and that you are not acting on behalf of any sanctioned person. CSBoard reserves the right to perform sanctions screening at any time and to terminate access without refund or further obligation upon any positive match.
4. Account & Steam Integration
CSBoard uses Steam OpenID for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account. By logging in, you authorize us to access your publicly available Steam profile information (Steam ID, username, avatar) and, when you provide a Trade URL, your CS2 inventory data via Steam's public API.
- One CSBoard account per Steam account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not share your account credentials or Trade URL with untrusted parties.
- You must provide a valid Steam Trade URL to use the buy/sell functionality.
Steam Account Pre-Conditions for Transactions
To reduce the risk of account compromise and fraudulent trades, the following Steam account conditions must be satisfied at the time of every buy or sell transaction:
- The Steam Mobile Authenticator app must have been installed on your mobile device for at least 7 days
- Steam Guard must have been active on your current device for at least 15 days
- Your Steam password must not have been changed within the last 5 days (or 30 days, if your account has been inactive for the previous two months)
- The device with the Steam Mobile Authenticator must not have been changed within the last 7 days
- Your Steam account must be free of trade holds, trade bans, and VAC bans
If any of these conditions is not met, CSBoard may refuse, cancel or reverse the transaction at its sole discretion, with or without compensation.
5. Selling Skins to CSBoard
You may sell eligible CS2 skins to CSBoard. The process works as follows:
- Price Quote: you select items from your inventory. The Platform displays a quoted price for each item based on current market data. Prices include the Platform's service fee — what you see is what you receive.
- Offer Acceptance: you confirm the sale. The Platform sends a Steam trade offer to your account requesting the selected items.
- Steam Confirmation: you accept the trade offer in Steam and confirm it via Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator (if enabled).
- Balance Credit: once the Steam trade is completed and confirmed, the agreed amount is credited to your CSBoard balance.
Important conditions:
- Quoted prices are valid for a limited time and may change based on market fluctuations.
- The Platform reserves the right to decline any sale at its discretion.
- Items must be tradeable (no Steam trade holds or trade bans).
- The sale is final once the Steam trade is confirmed — no cancellations after confirmation.
- If you decline or do not accept the Steam trade offer within the specified timeframe, the offer expires and no balance is credited.
6. Buying Skins from CSBoard
You may purchase CS2 skins from the Platform's inventory using your CSBoard balance:
- Browse & Select: you browse available items in the Platform's inventory and select items to purchase.
- Payment: the purchase amount is deducted from your CSBoard balance. You must have sufficient balance to complete the purchase.
- Delivery: the Platform sends a Steam trade offer containing the purchased items to your Steam account.
- Acceptance: you accept the trade offer in Steam to receive your items.
Important conditions:
- Purchase prices are based on market data and include a service margin.
- Prices may differ from prices on other marketplaces — the Platform is not obligated to match third-party prices.
- Items are subject to availability. An item may be sold to another buyer before your purchase is processed.
- You must accept the Steam trade offer within the specified timeframe. If the offer expires, the purchase may be cancelled and your balance refunded.
- Once you accept the Steam trade offer, the transaction is final.
Steam Trade Protection & Settlement Window
Steam imposes an 8-day Trade Protection hold on items received in any trade. Because of this:
- 8-day settlement. Funds for items sold to CSBoard are credited to your withdrawable balance no earlier than 8 calendar days after the Steam trade is confirmed.
- Mass cancellation by you = forfeiture. Steam allows users to mass-revoke their last 8 days of trades but does not allow selective cancellation. If you initiate such a mass-revoke, every item sold to CSBoard within that window remains on your account, no payout is owed by CSBoard, and Steam will automatically restrict your account from trading for the next 30 days. CSBoard is not responsible for restrictions imposed by Steam.
- Account ban during the hold. If your Steam account containing CS2 items sold to CSBoard is banned (VAC, trade ban, community ban or otherwise) before the 8-day Steam hold expires, CSBoard reserves the right to return the items to you with no obligation to pay their value.
- Pricing during the hold. CSBoard may, at its sole discretion, pay you an additional amount if the market price of an item you sold materially increases during the 8-day hold, but is under no obligation to do so. No public promise of reward is created by such discretionary payments.
7. Balance & Payments
7.1 Account Balance
Your CSBoard balance is a digital ledger representing funds available for purchasing items or withdrawing. The balance is not a bank account, deposit account, or e-money. It represents a right to use funds within the Platform.
7.2 Deposits
- You can deposit funds via supported cryptocurrency payment methods (USDT and other supported currencies).
- Deposits are processed through third-party payment providers (NowPayments).
- Deposited funds are credited to your balance after blockchain confirmation.
- Deposit processing times depend on the blockchain network and are outside CSBoard's control.
7.3 Withdrawals & Payouts
- You can withdraw your balance via USDT to an external cryptocurrency wallet.
- Minimum withdrawal amount may apply.
- Withdrawals are processed within 1–3 business days after the request is submitted.
- The Platform reserves the right to verify your identity before processing withdrawals.
- Withdrawal requests are final once submitted and cannot be cancelled once processing has begun.
7.4 Balance Freeze
The Platform may temporarily freeze all or part of your balance if:
- Suspected fraudulent activity is detected on your account.
- A chargeback, dispute, or investigation is initiated.
- Required by law or regulatory authority.
- Violations of these Terms are being investigated.
Frozen funds will be released upon successful resolution of the investigation, or forfeited if the investigation confirms a violation.
Use of Personal Payment Instruments Only
- You may fund your CSBoard balance only from payment instruments registered in your own name (cards, accounts, crypto wallets and other instruments belonging to you).
- Use of third-party payment methods, friends' or family members' instruments, money-mule services, payment aggregators or any technical solution that prevents direct identification of the payer is strictly prohibited.
- Refunds may be issued only to the same payment method and the same account/wallet from which the deposit originated. CSBoard will not redirect refunds to alternative beneficiaries.
- If a refund cannot be processed to the original method (e.g. closed wallet, blocked card), CSBoard may hold the balance internally pending the user supplying alternative information of equivalent compliance grade or, where required, return funds via legal process.
Tax Responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining, calculating and paying all taxes that may arise from your use of the Service, including but not limited to value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, capital gains tax and income tax under the laws of your country of residence and any other applicable jurisdiction. CSBoard does not provide tax advice and does not act as a withholding agent for users.
Not an Escrow Service / Not a Currency Exchange
- CSBoard does not provide escrow services. The Service must not be used to hold funds or items on behalf of any third party. If we suspect that a user is using the Service as an escrow, we may freeze the relevant balance for up to 24 hours to investigate and may terminate the relationship without further obligation.
- CSBoard does not provide crypto-to-fiat, fiat-to-crypto, fiat-to-fiat or crypto-to-crypto exchange services and does not act as a money services business, virtual asset service provider, payment institution or e-money issuer.
- Cryptocurrency support exists solely for the purpose of funding and withdrawing your CSBoard balance for the purchase and sale of CS2 items on the Platform.
8. Pricing & Fees
- Market-Based Pricing: buy and sell prices are determined by aggregated market data from multiple sources and updated regularly.
- Service Margin: the Platform's service fee is included in the quoted buy/sell prices. The sell price you receive is net of our fee. The buy price you pay includes our margin. There are no hidden fees.
- Price Volatility: CS2 item prices fluctuate based on supply and demand. The Platform does not guarantee that prices will remain stable. A price quoted at the time of listing may differ from the price at the time of transaction.
- Network Fees: cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals may incur blockchain network fees. These are separate from CSBoard's fees and are charged by the respective blockchain networks.
Currency, Pricing Display and FX Risk
- The CSBoard internal balance is denominated in U.S. Dollars (USD) and is settled in stablecoins (primarily USDT) at withdrawal.
- Prices may be displayed in other currencies for convenience using approximate FX rates. Such display is informational only — the binding amount is the USD-denominated value at the time the transaction is confirmed.
- You acknowledge that crypto and fiat FX rates fluctuate and that CSBoard is not liable for losses caused by such fluctuations between deposit, transaction and withdrawal.
9. Trade Safety & User Due Diligence
You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of all Steam trades sent by the Platform.
- Verify items match your order before confirming any Steam trade.
- Always confirm the trade offer is sent from the official CSBoard bot accounts listed in your dashboard.
- Be cautious of impersonators contacting you outside the Platform.
- Never share your Steam Guard codes or 2FA codes with anyone.
- Report suspicious behavior to our support team immediately.
10. Dispute Resolution
For disputes arising from buy/sell transactions with the Platform:
- Disputes must be reported within 24 hours of the transaction via the Support chat or email.
- You must provide evidence (screenshots, Steam trade history) to support your claim.
- The Platform will investigate and respond within 3 business days.
- Successful Steam trade confirmation is considered proof of delivery.
- Refunds are issued at the Platform's sole discretion based on investigation findings.
- If a refund is approved, funds are returned to your CSBoard balance (not to external payment methods).
Complaint and Limitation Window
- Any complaint regarding a failed, missing or disputed transaction must be filed with CSBoard support within 14 calendar days of the transaction date.
- Complaints filed after this window are deemed waived and will not be processed.
- Time limits required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction prevail over this clause to the extent of the inconsistency.
No Chargebacks / Steam History as Proof of Delivery
- By using the Service you waive any right to initiate a chargeback, dispute or non-receipt claim with a payment processor (including but not limited to PayPal Resolution Center, card-network disputes, and crypto-processor reversal claims) for any CSBoard transaction in which the corresponding Steam trade was successfully completed.
- A successful trade entry in the Steam trade history of CSBoard's bot account is conclusive proof of delivery of the item to or from your Steam account.
- Initiating a prohibited chargeback or dispute may result in immediate balance freeze, account termination, forfeiture of pending balances, and recovery of associated processing fees and legal costs.
Fraudulent or Stolen Items
CSBoard does not knowingly trade in items obtained through theft, fraud, account compromise, chargeback or other illicit means. If we determine, or have reasonable grounds to suspect, that an item received from you was obtained illicitly:
- No payment will be made for that item
- The item will, where technically possible, be returned to its original lawful owner
- Where return to the lawful owner is impossible (Steam restrictions, third-party intervention, force majeure), CSBoard bears no monetary or other liability to the seller
- We may share transaction data with Steam, payment processors, law-enforcement agencies and rights-holders to assist investigations
Right to Refuse, Re-Price or Reverse a Transaction
- CSBoard may refuse to process any transaction at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason. Where technically possible, items already transferred to CSBoard will be returned to the seller's Steam account.
- If our pricing system has materially mispriced an item, CSBoard may either offer a corrected price (which the user may accept or refuse) or reverse the trade after the 8-day Steam hold and return the item to the seller.
- If two or more buyers attempt to purchase the same item simultaneously, the item is allocated to the first paid order; other buyers' funds are returned to their CSBoard balance.
11. Premium Subscriptions
- Premium features (auto-posting, auto-bump, always-online, enhanced visibility) are available via paid subscriptions.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods.
- The Platform reserves the right to modify premium features and pricing with advance notice.
- Premium status does not exempt users from these Terms or provide preferential treatment in disputes.
12. Referral Program
- Users may earn rewards by referring new users to the Platform.
- Referral rewards are credited to your CSBoard balance.
- Self-referrals, fake accounts, and referral abuse will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential account suspension.
- The Platform reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
13. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Scamming, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Money laundering or using the Platform for illegal financial activities
- Using stolen accounts, items, or payment methods
- Automated scraping, botting, or API abuse without permission
- Exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or system errors for personal gain
- Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward other users
- Circumventing account restrictions, bans, or security measures
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
Violation may result in immediate account suspension, balance freeze, and permanent ban. Funds associated with prohibited activities may be forfeited.
14. Content
By posting comments or submitting content, you grant CSBoard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content on the Platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
15. Intellectual Property
The CSBoard platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of CSBoard. CS2 item images, names, and descriptions are the property of Valve Corporation and are used under fair use for the purpose of facilitating transactions.

- We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or suspected fraud.
- You may request account deletion by contacting support.
- Upon termination, you may withdraw your remaining unfrozen balance within 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed balances may be forfeited.
- The Platform is not obligated to provide refunds for active premium subscriptions upon termination for cause.
20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and regulations. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through our dispute resolution process shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
21. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
