How can I check if an M4A4 Howl is genuine?

All genuine Howls have the Contraband rarity color (orange) and a fixed pattern index of 0. Use Steam's in-game inspect to verify the float and that the skin shows the red wolf artwork. Avoid private profiles and always trade through Steam's official system. CSBoard's P2P trades execute directly via Steam, eliminating middleman risk.

What affects the price of an M4A4 Howl the most?

Wear (float) is the primary driver — a 0.00x FN can be worth 50% more than a 0.06x FN. StatTrak adds a significant multiplier. Stickers, especially rare Katowice 2014 holos, can add hundreds or thousands of dollars. Provenance (e.g., former pro player ownership) also matters.

Is the M4A4 Howl a good investment?

Historically, the Howl has appreciated 15-25% annually since its removal. As a Contraband item with a finite supply, it's considered a blue-chip collectible in CS2. However, liquidity is lower than for liquid knives; selling a high-tier Howl may take days to weeks.

Can I sell my M4A4 Howl instantly?

On CSBoard, you can list your Howl for sale and receive offers from buyers. There is no instant buy-out system, but because CSBoard aggregates demand, high-tier items often sell within 24-72 hours. Sellers receive USDT directly to their wallet as soon as the Steam trade completes.
