The eSports 2014 Case was introduced in March 2014 as part of CS:GO's first major eSports push. It was discontinued later that year, making it one of the oldest and most sought-after cases in the game. Opening one today requires a rare eSports Key, and the case itself now trades for around $80–$100 on the Steam Community Market. Its rarity, combined with iconic skins like the AK-47 | Fire Serpent, keeps collector demand high.
The eSports 2014 Summer Case followed in July 2014 with a different set of skins, including the P2000 | Ocean Foam and AWP | Electric Hive. Both cases are now discontinued and command premium prices, but the original eSports 2014 Case remains the more valuable of the two due to its higher-tier coverts.
